Role Overview:
Truwear is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to our outbound sales engine and client success strategy. You’ll be responsible for lead generation, account retention, brand experience management, and outbound sales. You’ll also represent Truwear at events, manage CRM activities, and collaborate across teams to ensure fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales and relationship management, along with the discipline and energy to support rapid growth.

Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Prospecting
- Dedicate a minimum of 50%-70% of your time to outbound prospecting: cold calls, warm outreach, and structured follow-up. (to start, then transition to 50/50)
- Source and qualify leads from personal networks, ZoomInfo, inbound form fills, and internal databases
- Disqualify leads based on outreach outcomes and lead scoring criteria
- Maintain a consistent and organized sales pipeline
- Track outreach volume, lead conversion, and meetings booked
Outbound Sales & Client Engagement
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through fulfillment
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Set and report weekly metrics related to sales revenue, meetings completed, and lead progression
Event and Trade Show Sales
- Represent Truwear at industry trade shows and networking events
- Support booth execution and contribute to event-driven lead strategies
- Collaborate with the BDR team on follow-up and conversion
CRM, Process, and Order Fulfillment
- Use HubSpot, Printavo, Asana, and Microsoft tools to manage accounts and sales documentation
- Oversee client orders from sale to delivery, coordinating with operations and fulfillment teams
- Maintain clean and timely CRM records, and structure follow-up processes for new and existing clients
Client Retention and Brand Management
- Conduct weekly and bi-weekly meetings with key and recurring clients
- Improve client satisfaction and retention by providing proactive service and identifying growth opportunities
- Ensure that all client interactions reflect the Truwear brand standards
Cross-Functional Teamwork
- Support internal teams, including sales ops, warehouse, and customer service
- Assist in building scalable systems to support future franchise expansion
- Participate in company initiatives that drive improvements in sales and operational execution
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, account management, or related role
- Strong cold-calling and client engagement skills
- CRM proficiency required (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Excellent organization and follow-up discipline
- Experience in field sales, trade show sales, or door-to-door sales is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Performance & Time Commitments
- Full-time availability with occasional evenings/weekends for events
- Sales quota enforced
- Trade show and travel required

As an Account Manager (AM), you will be responsible for outbound sales efforts, lead generation, client engagement, Account Retention, Client Engagement and Improvement, and Brand Experience management to drive Truwear’s growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Required to continue with BDR responsibilities of prospecting and nurturing your leads. Distributing a minimum of 20% of your time on these activities to maintain top-of-funnel lead flow.
- Focus most on personal networks; Sales, Client, and Pipeline Management
- Personal Network Lead Nurturing. Maintaining an organized pipeline of leads and hitting required KPI’s weekly.
- Cold calls, warm outreach, and follow-up calls are made daily.
- Source and qualify leads from Personal, ZoomInfo, form fills, and internal lead lists.
- Disqualify leads based on Outreach Outcome & Meeting Tier List criteria.
- Report on:
o Good leads and follow-up strategy for an Omni-Channel Approach.
o Meetings scheduled and conversion rates.
o Pipeline Management
Outbound Sales & Client Engagement:
- Establish and track outreach hours, accounting for travel time, follow-up, and CRM organization.
- Personal outreach and account management.
- Report on:
o Sales Revenue
o Meetings scheduled, completed, and lead progression
Event & Trade Show Sales:
- Support event/trade show initiatives to maximize lead generation.
- Represent Truwear at industry events to drive brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the BDR team to develop effective event sales strategies.
Sales Process & CRM Management:
- Utilize HubSpot, Printavo, Asana, and Teams/OneDrive to track leads and maintain organized client records.
- Ensure structured follow-ups and an organized sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with sales leadership for continued improvement of outbound and inbound sales tactics.
- Managing orders to the end. With the help of sales ops and the fulfillment team, ensure that orders are produced and delivered on time.
Client Nurturing & Management:
- Weekly Meetings with Ally and Recurring Clients. Biweekly Meetings with current clients and sales qualified leads.
Cross-Functional Support:
- Work in a team environment, assisting with customer service, warehouse operations, and cross-functional tasks with the end goal to build out the best Sales Process and future Franchise expansion.
- Align with sales, operations, and fulfillment teams to streamline efficiency and execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong cold-calling, outbound sales, and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and CRM discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Printavo, Asana, and Teams/OneDrive.
- Self-motivated and independent, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable with door-to-door sales, trade show outreach, and field marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement.
Time Commitment & Performance Expectations:
- Standard business hours, with occasional evening/weekend work for events.
- Months 2-3: $40,000 monthly minimum sales quota.
- Months 4-6: $70,000 monthly minimum.
- Months 7-9: $85,000 monthly minimum.
- After Month 9: Quotas are reviewed quarterly based on client load, production needs, and team expansion. Failure to meet minimum quotas may impact commission rates.
- Monthly KPI reviews and performance tracking.
- Commission-based compensation with adjustments based on performance and tenure.
